Project Brief
Scorched is a short film that explores several locations in Pennsylvania with active coal mine fires that will continue to burn for hundreds of years.
The Challenge
Notice of a last minute for a new environmental film festival pushed us into a very fast production schedule and spent 2 days filming and 1 day editing film and music in time for deadline.
The Solution
We prepped host Mark Clement during the drive time to our locations about the history of PA coal mining, then returned to Philadelphia to begin our film and music edit with composer Sheila Hershey
