Poster from FedexMy last post (and the first one on this site!) stating that print is not dead is still on point. I’m amazed how a tiny 1920 x 1080 HD frame grab holds up. We filmed Selva Oscura, a music documentary, heavily featuring music and dance, and recorded to ProRes HQ via an Atomos Inferno. The HDMI feed came straight from a Sony a6500. So while these frames were quality, they weren’t intended to live as a poster. But there it is, and the print was my passenger today in all of its laminated glory.

I have to give FedEx credit too, besides print quality, their staff actually knew some things about file prep and was happy to create a color proof while I waited. So much for bashing the work ethic of youth, these guys were on the money…and I admit I’m falling for the Scrawny Cat font even more as I see it in print. screening event.
